Nice weather continues with near-normal temperatures one more day before a major cool-down this weekend. Aside from a few high clouds, expect mostly sunny skies today with high a high around 60 degrees, southwest winds increasing with gusts 15-25 mph during the afternoon. Breezy and cooler tomorrow as highs drop into the lower 50's, west winds gusting to near 30 mph at times. Low pressure will pass inland to our north this weekend increasing the onshore flow and deepening the marine layer enough for some light rain and drizzle, mainly on the lower coastal slopes. Some moisture could spill into the Big Bear Valley with light snow showers or flurries possible on Saturday and light rain across our Rim communities, snow level near 6,000 feet. Highs will cool to the 40's over the weekend with lows back in the 20's. This system will dig through the Great Basin Saturday into Sunday before exiting to the east early next week. This will bring a return to more seasonal spring weather with warmer temperatures by the middle of next week as our forecast remains dry.
