Looking at another nice day out there today under mostly sunny skies with a few high clouds as highs top out near 60 degrees. Fair through the end of the week as weak high pressure remains in place with highs near 60 again tomorrow, while overnight lows generally cool to the 30s. A low-pressure system will move into the area on Saturday with clouds and winds increasing throughout the day. Rain and snow showers could develop by Saturday afternoon, with showers likely Saturday night into Sunday morning. With enough instability, we could also fire off a few afternoon thundershowers. Rainfall amounts look generally under a quarter of an inch with the snow level above 8,000 feet, lowering to around 6,000 feet late Saturday night into Sunday, with a couple inches of snow possible! Skies will clear Sunday into Monday before another weak system brushes the area around on Tuesday, bringing cooler temps and gusty west winds with possible showers on Wednesday, but once again, it does not look significant at this time.
